Jawa Signature Edition motorcycle with chassis number 1 sold for the highest amount Rs 45 lakh
A total of thirteen Jawa Signature Edition motorcycles were sold in the auction which was held in Mumbai on 29th March 2019. The theme of the event was ‘Forever Heros’. Jawa’s unique fundraising event gathered 1 crore 43 lakh and 25 thousand and this amount will be donated to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund. This particular fund is run by the Kendriya Sainik Board which comes under the Ministry of Defence. The ultimate purpose of this fund and amount is to provide education facilities to the children of martyrs of the Indian Armed Forces.
Speaking about the event, a total of thirteen Jawa signature edition motorcycles were up for grabs. The bidders had to bid for the chassis number of their choice from 001 to 100. Motorcycle with chassis number 1 sold for a staggering 45 lakhs which was the highest among all thirteen motorcycles. Least amount was fetched by chassis number 7 which was generous 5 lakhs.

The special privileges which will be given to the buyers of Jawa Special Edition motorcycles are:
- A 285 page ‘The Forever Bike’ book with Jawa’s rich heritage and legacy
- Buyers will have access to all Jawa Events, Promotions as well as Offers
- Free RTO registration
- Free Special Service for 42 months with consumables and spares.
In a statement, Anupam Thareja, co-founder, Classic Legends Private Limited said:
“Given the recent events that have brought the valor of the soldiers to the fore, we felt this would be the right time to salute the heroes of the Armed Forces that put the country ahead of themselves. The ‘Forever Heroes’ initiative is our way of offering gratitude towards their services. This feeling resonates from the heart of the leadership team well into the sensibilities of various departmental employees – with many people coming from the Armed Forces families!”

These Jawa Signature Editions bikes will be delivered through any dealer in any city across the country. However, the bidders will have to pay the amount in seven days, but the exact date of delivery is not yet revealed by the company. That said, Deliveries of pre-booked Jawa motorcycles will start from 30th March 2019, 11 AM onwards.

Forty-Two dual disc, dual channel ABS – Rs 1.63 Lakh

Jawa dual disc, dual-channel ABS – Rs 1.73 Lakh
