Honda is seconds after Hero MotoCorp to open 1000 dealerships in India with more than 6000 touchpoints
The number of Honda Dealership has now touched 1000 with the opening of Platinum Honda, Rajpura Road, Zirakpur of Mohali District. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India now have a huge spread of 6000 touch points in the country. The 1000th dealership is actually a Honda Exclusive Authorized Dealer with Sales, Service, Spares, and Safety facilities.
In the financial year 2014, Honda had only 2700 outlets in the country and now after five years, the number of outlets has increased by 3300 and now touched the 6000 mark. The number is pretty monstrous for the Japanese company’s reach.

On this milestone achievement, Mr. Minoru Kato – President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. said, “I am delighted to be present here on milestone 1000th Honda dealer inauguration. Honda also fulfilled its commitment of providing 6000 network touchpoints to our valuable customers by the end of the current financial year. This landmark achievement brings Honda closer to the hearts of its customers, who have reposed their trust in the brand.”
Honda Dealerships offers 4S facilities
Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India Pvt Ltd is continuously spreading its wings wide in India and providing last mile connectivity. Since Honda parted its way from Hero in 2011, it has made its presence felt to each and every motorcycle manufacturer in the country.

Honda offers the best quality products in India with easy and affordable serviceability. The Japanese company is present in nearly every segment. CD 110 Dream, Dream Neo, Dream Yuga is available in the basic commuter segment. Honda Livo is a good premium 110cc commuter whereas Shine and Shine SP does it for the premium 125cc commuter segment.
Unicorn, on the other hand, is basic power commuter whereas XBlade and Hornet 160R are premium power commuters. CBR 250R was the only premium performance motorcycle until now but Honda CB300R stepped in India as another naked street sports motorcycle from the Japanese giant. Bookings are now open for 2019 Honda CBR 650R which will launch in May-June 2019.
