In an official Mail, Jawa confirmed that the Deliveries of pre-booked bikes will start from the Fourth week of March, i.e, March 25th

It’s been 4 Months since Jawa showcased two bikes in India on 15th November 2018. There were few speculations about Jawa to start deliveries by end of February or March 2019 but now it’s confirmed by Jawa that Forty-Two and Jawa 300 will start to get delivered from Fourth Week of March. All in all, just 12 days are left for the same.

Jawa is known for its retro charm and powerful beat. Classic Legends, the owner of Jawa Motorcycles, have tried hard to keep these properties of Jawa. The Beat feels powerless due to the engine being a 4-stroke but the design is absolutely impressive. A glance on Jawa 300 would somewhat make you suspicious about the bike being older Jawa 250 from the 1960s.

The Forty-Two, on-the-other-hand, is made for contemporary times. Forty-Two lacks chrome for blacked out parts which makes it look modern. A funky off-set instrument cluster is worthy for a look but it lacks information what other bikes at this price provides.

At the heart of these motorcycles is a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder 293 cc fuel-injected engine. This Mojo derived engine pumps out 27 bhp and 28 Nm which is good enough for highway rides. Reduction duties are taken care of by a 6-speed gearbox. Performance wise these classic bikes can propel themselves to 100 kmph in under 12 seconds and will have a top speed of around 130 kmph.

See, there are a lot of things to look at, but you are one hell of a person when your eyes are pulled towards beauty on two wheels. This guy here is one such animal who loves two wheels more than "Maa ke hath ka Khana." Not yet fully transformed into a seasoned rider but still, there are many things still "under construction." Akash is a writer, loves writing fiction but here at motorcycle diaries, its all about the world on two wheels.
