Classic legends, the maker of the Jawa brand of bikes in India has launched the Jawa Anniversary Edition of Jawa 300 motorcycle with a price tag of Rs 1.72 lakh ex-showroom. The price of the 90th-anniversary edition is the same as that of regular Jawa 300 bikes. There are only 90 units of the same is available for sale. The best part is that the bike will be delivered immediately as there is no waiting period for the anniversary edition.

But there is a catch, the bikes have to be won through a special lucky draw scheme. In this, only those people can participate who has already booked a Jawa motorcycle via online or offline mode. Wait, even you can take part in the lucky draw, all you have to do is book a Jawa motorcycle before 22nd October 2019.

Now speaking about the Jawa Anniversary edition, the bike gets special red & ivory paint scheme which is inspired by the original Jawa 500 OHV motorcycle which was the first-ever motorcycle made by the Jawa brand in the year 1929. One can see Anniversary commemorative emblem on the fuel tank along with an individual serial number allotted for each bike.

Powering the Jawa Anniversary edition is the same liquid-cooled, 293cc single-cylinder engine. This powerplant develops 27bhp and 28Nm torque and is mated to a 6-speed transmission.

It’s been 90 years since Jawa first entered the world of motorcycles and just a year back India got to see the Jawa brand again all thanks to the Classic Legends which will be making Jawa branded bikes for the Indian market. The company is all set to launch Yezdi branded bikes in the coming years.
