The limited edition Activa and CB Shine are to clear the existing stock before the launch of BS6 compliant models
Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India has launched new limited edition Activa 5G. The prices of the same starts from Rs 55,032 STD variant and Rs 56,897 for DLX. The color schemes on limited edition Activa 5G are available on both STD and DLX variants.
The two limited edition color schemes are – Strontium Silver Metallic with Pearl Igneous Black and Pearl Precious White with Matte Selene Silver. The limited edition scooter also get new graphics, black rims, a chrome muffler cover, and a blacked-out engine (which is obviously not visible). On the Matte Selene Silver color scheme, the grab rail, the inner side of the apron and seat cover is finished in a brown color.
Powering the new Activa 5G is the same 109.1cc, 2-valve, air-cooled carburetted engine. The powerplant makes 7.8bhp at 7500rpm and 9Nm at 5500rpm torque. However, Honda is working on a BS6 variant of Activa which will have a fuel-injected engine and updated hardware.
Honda CB Shine 125 Limited Edition
Honda also launched the limited edition of CB Shine 125 which is priced at Rs 59,083 for the drum brake model and the disc brake variant will set you back by Rs 63,743. This is a small hike of Rs 300 over the standard model.
Just like Activa, the new CB Shine 125 is available in two dual-tone color options – black with red and black with silver. There are changes made to the graphic design, the tank, headlight cowl, side as well as rear panel.
Powering the new motorcycle is the same 124.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. The engine generates 10.1bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.3Nm of max torque at 5,500rpm. A 4-speed gearbox does the power transmission duties.
Honda Dealers in Metro Cities are expecting new limited edition Activa 5G and CB Shine 125 in the next few days. Deliveries will after that.
