Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon Collection is the latest series in the popular Pulsar range. Priced at Rs 64,998 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the range comes in three different colour options. These are – Neon Red, Neon Yellow and Neon Silver. With this new range, Bajaj has tried to boost the appeal of the Pulsar 150 Classic.

The Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon Collection is the same bike based on Pulsar 150 Classic. However, cosmetic updates like little colourful bits on various parts make it more appealing. The bike gets contrasting colour accents on headlamp eyebrows, Pulsar logo, side panel mesh, grab rail, alloy wheel etc. Also, it comes wearing a 3D logo on the rear cowl and contrast stitching on the seat.

Mechanically, the Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon Collection is identical to the regular Bajaj Pulsar 150 Classic. The power source for the new bike is a 149cc air-cooled, twin-spark, four-stroke DTS-I engine. Coupled with a 5-speed transmission, the engine churns out 13.8 bhp of peak power at 8,000 rpm and 13.4 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm.

Not only the same power and torque, but the new model also returns the same mileage as well. For braking duty, it uses a 240 mm front disk brake and a 130 mm rear drum unit. Suspension set up too is same as the standard Pulsar 150. While this new update comes increasing appeal of the bike, it is expected to receive ABS soon.

Eric Vas, president of Bajaj Auto has said, it comes with fresh looks, outstanding road presence and proven performance. The Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon Collection will certainly lure the buyers who want to move beyond the 100/110cc bike. Pricing of the bike is another USP of this model. Also, the nearly two-decade-old popularity of Bajaj Pulsar will help the newly launched bike as well.
