Bajaj Auto has launched the smaller capacity Pulsar NS with a rear disk brake in Indian Market. 2018 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 will now command a premium of around Rs 2,000 over the single-disc variant.

The Pulsar NS 160 comes in with new features and colour options. The design of the bike is based on the NS 200 and the motorcycle is positioned above the Pulsar 150.

The newest feature on Pulsar NS 160 is its LED daytime running lights in the front. Powering the Pulsar NS160 is a 160.3cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled DTS-i engine producing 15.5PS of power at 8500rpm and 14.6Nm of torque at 6500rpm.

2018 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 fuel cap looks much like the one you can find on the NS200. It gets a similar brushed Aluminum finish and has an aircraft-type LID. The instrument cluster is a semi-digital unit and has a large analogue tachometer that is complemented by a digital speedometer.

The bike further gets a sporty handlebar that has a clip-on style. The bike gets an exposed chain with a plastic cover on the top to prevent the chain lubricant from soiling your trousers. The Aluminum-finished foot-pegs lend a sporty touch.

Suspension duties are taken care of by conventional telescopic forks up front and a gas-charged monoshock at the rear. Disc brakes at both ends account for braking duties. Its 17-inch alloy wheels come shod with 80/100 and 110/80-section tyres which offer good grip.

Newest pulsar 160NS price: Rs 84,602, as opposed to the standard variant which is priced at Rs 82,496 (ex-showroom, Pune).
