In terms of power output, both the bikes deliver 26.1 bhp with a minute difference in torque. CBR has a peak torque output of 22.9Nm and SF 250 generates 22.6Nm. Both bikes have a 6-speed gearbox. The performance also seems to be near similar with a bit higher top speed available on Honda due to very tall 6th gear.

Ergonomics on both the bikes are tuned for munching miles on highways. However, Gixxer lacks tall windscreen which would make it harder to ride at higher speed for longer duration due to the wind blast.

Steady sales numbers will be seen from the month of July 2019 when initial sales boost subdues. Gixxer, however, makes a better value for money proposition for the time being. Let’s not talk about Bajaj Dominar 400 here, as it offers the best value for your money in under Rs 2 lakh segment.
