Speaking about the MotoGP colour scheme, it is completely similar to the one seen on the previously launched Gixxer SF 150. The base paint is Suzuki’s signature MotoGP gloss blue colour. There is a large Suzuki logo in white on both sides with stroked ECstar decals under it. Other than this, there are no mechanical changes made to the bike.

Powering the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP edition is same 249cc single-cylinder engine with 4-valve head. Fueling is done via an electronic fuel injection system. This powerplant is good enough for 26.1bhp at 9000rpm and 22.6Nm twisting force at 7500rpm. Suzuki has used its own oil-cooling technology (SOCS) instead of expensive liquid-cooling technology. In this tech, the oil is made to pass through jackets around cylinder and engine head to cool them down. This is not like other cheaper and less effective oil-cooling systems one can find on other bikes.

Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP is strategically priced at Rs 1.71 lakh ex-showroom. This makes it much cheaper than overpriced yet capable Honda CBR 250R (Rs 1.95 lakh) and considerably costlier than Yamaha Fazer 25 (Rs 1.44 lakh). KTM RC200 is in another league at Rs 1.90 lakh and Dominar 400 at Rs 1.8 lakh will give you a highway tourer.
