Suzuki Gixxer 250 price is Rs 1.7 lakh ex-showroom. A whole Rs 24,000 cheaper than Honda CBR 250R
After a series of spy shots and anticipations, the Japanese giant has launched its 250cc bike in India. Suzuki Gixxer 250 price is Rs 1.7 lakh ex-showroom. This makes it Rs 24,000 cheaper than Honda CBR 250R ABS which is priced at Rs 1.95 lakh ex-showroom.
Suzuki Gixxer 250 is a sports tourer motorcycle. This means it will be a lot comfortable for long distance touring. Unlike KTM RC 200 which is a committed track bike, Gixxer 250 SF has higher placed clip-on handlebars. The bike has all LED lighting, that means both head light and tail light are LED units. There is a fully digital instrument cluster with gear position indicator. The white backlit display has almost all the numbers you’ll ever need.
Powering the Gixxer 250 is a 249cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine with a 4-valve head. Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) is an advanced oil-cooling system which enhances engine heat management and provides higher power output. The engine belts out 26.3bhp at 9000rpm and 22.6Nm torque at 7500rpm. A 6-speed gearbox does reduction duties.

The new Gixxer SF 250 offer a sharp design, sporty looks along with a powerful performance, catering to the needs of the consumer. With this new launch, Suzuki will be able to further enhance its presence in the premium motorcycle segment in the country.”

Rest of the components offered are of great quality. THe suspension system is handled by telescopic forks at front and Monoshock at rear. The bike rides on 110/70R-17 M/C and 150/60R-17 M/C radial tubeless tyres at front and back respectively. Braking performance comes from disc brakes (of undisclosed diameters) at both ends with dual-channel ABS as standard.
