Naked Suzuki Giixer 250 price is Rs 1,000 less than the Duke 200 at Rs 1.6 lakh ex-showroom
Suzuki Gixxer 250 price in India is Rs 1,59,800 ex-showroom, Delhi. Its been more than two months when Suzuki launched the faired version of the quarter-liter motorcycle in the country christened as Gixxer SF 250. The naked version as expected is priced Rs 10,000 less than the SF 250.
A most interesting part of the deal is that Naked Gixxer 250 is cheaper than the KTM 200 Duke ABS. Duke 200 ABS carries a price tag of Rs 1.61 lakh ex-showroom which makes it Rs 1,000 more expensive. However, the 200 Duke makes up for the up-market components like USD forks, radial calipers, Trellis frame, and fully loaded digital meter.

Speaking about the looks, the bike is 100% similar to that of Gixxer 150. The only things which make it look apart are the 250 decals on the tank extension and distinguished exhaust chrome tip. LED lights take up the head and tail section, however, the turn indicators are regular bulb type to save cost.
Powering the new Suzuki Gixxer 250 is same single-cylinder, 249cc oil-cooled engine with 4-valve head. The motor is good enough for 26.1bhp at 9000rpm and 22.6Nm torque at 7500rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission for power delivery purpose. It is a very well tested fact that naked bikes are quicker of the line due to their lower weight. Here, the Gixxer 250 tips the scale at 156 kg which is whole 5 kg less than the SF 250.

The bike is held together by diamond type frame and suspended by 41 mm telescopic forks upfront and monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are taken care of by disc brakes at both ends coupled by dual-channel ABS. The Gixxer 250 rides on 110/70R-17 and 150/60R-17 Radial Tubeless tyres. Fuel tank capacity stands at 12 liter which is good for a range of 350-400 km in a full tank.
Suzuki Gixxer 250 price point will attract the attention of Yamaha, KTM, and Bajaj. Most close in the list is Duke 200 next we have Yamaha FZ25 which is Rs 26,000 cheaper than the Gixxer 250. It is useless to talk about Duke 250 and Dominar 400 as they in their own league and also pricey.
