Spock electric scooter is priced from Rs 65,000 and top of the line model is priced at Rs 99,000
Spock electric scooter, by Li-ions Elektrik Solutions, a new electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has entered the Indian EV market. The EV is powered by 72 volt 40 Ampere-Hour Li-ion battery pack. Total battery charge capacity is 2.9 kWh.
Coupled with a hub mounted Brushless DC Motor which is rated at 1.2 kW continuous power output. The peak power output is 2.1 kW which is unleashed during sudden acceleration. The motor generates 230Nm of twisting force which is the best we have heard till now. Speaking about the range, one can go upto 130 km in eco mode and around 100 km in power mode.
Speaking on the launch, Capt. Gurvinder Singh, Director, Li-ions Elektrik Solutions Pvt. Ltd., said, “Green mobility solutions is the need of the hour. We, at Li-ions Elektrik, are at the forefront of driving electric innovations that will impact environmental and economic sustainability in our communities and nation. With the introduction of these new Electric 2-Wheelers, we aim to empower and encourage people towards an environment-friendly country.”

Spock is fitted with a cargo box which is thermally insulated. This electric scooter would be ideal for delivering food items in an environment-friendly way.
Price Range from Rs 65,000 to Rs 99,000 on-road
“The design of our 2-wheeler has been done at the local level which has been 100 percent made under the “Make in India” umbrella and is fully indigenous. Any product can only succeed based on the demand it generates in the market, here too, it is a matter of pride for the company to have its orders pre-booked full before the grand launch,” added Capt. Singh.
Other features include 12-inch wheels at both ends, telescopic suspension up front, integrated turn indicators, USB socket, and swappable batteries. Swappable batteries will make it easier to recharge at your home. The life of battery pack is claimed to be around 1200 cycles.
The company says the deliveries of Spock electric scooter will start from the month of July 2019.
