TVS Jupiter is the second highest selling scooter in India second only to Honda Activa 5G

In May 2019 TVS Jupiter clocked 56797 unit sales which is 2% lower than the previous year’s number. Jupiter comes in different variants- Standard, ZX, Classic, and ZX Disc Brake variant. Prices of all these variants are-

Standard – Rs 52,645

ZX Drum – Rs  57,143

ZX-Disc – Rs 58,645

Classic – Rs 59,635

All the prices mentioned are ex-showroom, Delhi. With a peppy performance and affordability, TVS Jupiter is the best 110cc automatic scooter you can find in the Indian market.

On the other hand, Suzuki Access 125 noticed by the people as its sales grew by a greater margin when compared to Financial Year 2017-18. Last year, Suzuki launched a facelift version of Access and targetted marketing helped the Japanese giant to keep their cash registers ringing.

Not just that, in January 2019, Access 125 actually overtook TVS Jupiter in terms of sales. Suzuki sold 54,524 units of Access 125 whereas TVS Jupiter found 51,300 homes in the same month. And there as Activa which had been the undisputed king in the automatic scooter segment. In May 2019 Activa 5G outsold Hero Splendor by about 19,000 units.

TVS Jupiter Classic

Last month, Suzuki managed to move 51,414 Access 125 out of the showrooms which is 11% increase than the previous year’s sales. If Gixxer maker decides they can create more advertising campaigns to further increase the sales of the 125cc scooter.

The Drum brake equipped Access 125 is priced at Rs 57,219 whereas the Disc brake variants will set you back by Rs 59,996. All the prices are ex-showroom Delhi. There is a special edition variant of Access which carries a slightly higher price tag of Rs 61,788 ex-showroom.
