GoZero is offering two E-Bikes, Mile and One, price starts from Rs 29,999

British eBike company GoZero has launched two electric cycles in India. GoZero Mile and GoZero One are priced at Rs 29,999 and Rs 32,999 respectively. The launch event was held in New Delhi. GoZero Mobility is a Birmingham based electric cycle manufacturer who has tied up with Kolkata based Kirti Solar to manufacture ebikes in India. They plan to export ebikes to Africa and South-East Asia.

GoZero Mile with 45 km range for Rs 29,999

GoZero Mile is the base variant which comes with a 300 Wh Li-ion battery pack. Mile can go up to 45 km on a full charge which is more than enough for riding in the city. Powering the Mile is a 250 Watt HAILONG motor. Speaking about the ‘One’, it is equipped with a slightly larger battery pack of 400 Wh and will provide a range of up to 60 km on a single charge.

‘Mile’ gets a 3-level pedal assist whereas ‘One’ gets a 5-level. Mile ebikes has front mechanical disc brake and standard V-brake at the rear. The One gets mechanical disc brakes on both ends. There are multiple riding modes which include – Full Throttle, Pedal assist, Manual Pedal, Walk Assist. GoZero One gets one more mode and that is Cruise Mode. The Bottle shaped batteries are lockable for safety and can be easily detachable for charging. Charging can be done via any household 220 volt AC socket. Battery pack takes around 3.5 hours time to completely charge.

Information to the rider is shown via a small instrument cluster. Mile gets LED display while One gets a premium LCD display with backlight. Information like Speed, Odometer, Battery Level, Pedal assist level etc is shown. There is an additional feature of trip details in GoZero One. eBikes has waterproof connectors and there is a USB port for mobile charging on the go.

The company is expecting to sell around 3000 units in the first year which is planned up to 75000 units in the next five years. Sales will be done through both Online and Offline method. Yo can buy the bikes directly from their website or you can wait for dealers to start stocking up the ebikes. GoZero will open 18 experience centers in metro cities and will open 1000 dealers in two years.
