Ducati Scrambler 1100 Motorcycle Launched on 27th of August

Ducati India has announced the introduction of the new Scrambler 1100 on its own social networking stations. The flagship Ducati Scrambler 1100 offering is likely to create its India introduction on August 27. Several Ducati dealerships have started accepting reservations for the approaching bike for a quantity of Rs 1-2 lakh determined by the trader. According to the traders, the Scrambler 1100 will retail for approximately Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom) for its bottom version. Expected price of the Ducati Scrambler 1100 is approx Rs. 11 lakh.

Ducati Scrambler 1100In the core of the bike sits a 1,079cc, L-twin engine churning out 86hp in 7,500rpm and 88Nm of torque at 4,750rpm. In contrast, the normal Ducati Scrambler 1100 803cc engine generates 74hp and 67Nm of torque. Transmission responsibilities are managed with a six-speed gearbox.

Considering that the excess firepower on offer, Ducati has endowed the Scrambler 1100 the security net of ABS, cornering ABS plus a four-level grip control system. In addition, it has a ride-by-wire controller and contains three riding manners — Lively, Journey and Town. The instrument cluster has been upgraded as well and today comes with another pod. This helps exhibit all of the extra readouts which arrive with the new electronic equipment.
