Bajaj Dominar 400 price in India is Rs 1.74 Lakh ex-showroom. The company was not selling any interesting numbers of Dominar since past two or three months and now to turn their fortunes upside-down, 2019 version of Dominar 400 is launched. This time the Hyper Tourer received all the essential upgrades that were showcased in Pulsar CS400 in 2014 Auto Expo.
Starting with the biggest change, 2019 Dominar 400 received a fat bump in power. The new version now pumps out 39.5 bhp at 8650 rpm whereas the older version produced 34.5 bhp at 8500 rpm. The torque, however, remains the same at 35 Nm but it arrives late at 7000 rpm.
2019 version of Dominar received USD forks, Larger Radiator, DOHC Head, and Dual Barrel Exhaust among the mechanical changes. The suspension of the bike has been engineered towards the softer side and now the bike will be able to absorb shocks on the bad stretches that our Country offers.

2019 version of Dominar 400 has received the following changes:

- DOHC Head
- Higher Compression Ratio at 12.1:1
- Larger Radiator
- Dual Barrel Exhaust
- Secondary Digital Display
- More information in the main console
- Redesigned Alloy Wheels
- Better Rear View Mirrors
- Lesser Vibrations
- Revised Suspension Setup
The weight has increased by 2.5 Kg and now Kerb weight stands at 184.5 Kg. Even with this addition of weight, the power-to-weight ratio is bumped from 189.5 bhp/tonne to 214 bhp/tonne. We can easily expect better acceleration from the bike. A 0 to 100 kmph timing is around 7.6 seconds from the current 8.4 seconds. The 2019 Dominar 400 can now be called a Hyper Tourer.
