2017 Suzuki Gixxer & Gixxer SF Special at the price tag of Rs. 81,175
Suzuki Motorcycle India has introduced 2017 Suzuki Gixxer & Gixxer SF special edition of motorcycles and the Gixxer SP including new livery. The particular variant Suzuki Gixxer SP has been priced at ₹ 81,175, while the Gixxer SF SP is priced at ₹ 99,312 (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi), also remains just like the normal version. Interestingly, the specific edition Gixxers come only days following Suzuki Gixxer SF was launched with ABS unit in India.
The 2017 Suzuki Gixxer SP version comes with a fresh paint job together with graphics on the gas tank and the front cowl. There is also a Gixxer SP 2017 logo inserted on the bicycle. The special edition models will be available from the orange color scheme.
Announcing the launch, Suzuki India – EVP, Sales and Marketing, Sajeev Rajasekharan stated, “We are Very Happy to announce the latest Special Edition variants of the Gixxer SF, with ABS and FI; and Gixxer. The Gixxer SP 2017 Series exudes while also injecting excitement and thrill into the popular and successful Gixxer motorcycles portfolio, these attributes perfectly. The SP editions stay committed to our promise of offering riders a mix of exceptional performance, sporty looks, and a pride of ownership.”
With Regard to mechanicals, Gixxer SF SP and the Suzuki Gixxer SP get no changes. The bicycles continue to draw electricity from the 154.9 cc single-cylinder engine that makes 14.5 bhp at 8000 rpm and peak torque of 14 Nm at 6000 rpm. The Gixxer SF, on the other hand, was upgraded in a bid to make way for the sportier performance last year with fuel injection.
