TVS launched a special edition of Star City+ for Rs 54,579 ex-showroom for the festive season

Chennai based Apache maker has launched a new special edition of Star City+ in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 54,579 ex-showroom. This Star City+ special edition now comes with the dual-tone paint scheme, a small effort to attract young families this festive season. The combination of white and black delivers a striking visual appeal to the motorcycle.

The bike gets dual-tone seats, stylish dual-tone mirrors as well as colored shock absorbers. All these elements grant Star City+ an enhanced look. The 110cc bike features all the basic features like Automatic Headlamp On (AHO), Honeycomb textured side panels, Stainless steel exhaust muffle. The alloy wheels are painted black which provides a great contrast to what TVS is giving as the body color. Rear grab rails are finished in aluminum.

Powering the Star City+ Special edition motorcycle is an air-cooled 109cc engine with 2 valve head. This powerplant makes 8.2bhp at 7000rpm and 8.7Nm torque at 5000rpm. The engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox which is evenly spaced for stress-free city commuting.

The suspension system comprises of telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are taken care of by drums brakes on both ends with 130 mm at the front and 110 mm at rear. Tyres are tubeless in nature which are boon for a motorcyclist.

This new special edition of Star City+ will rival the market leader Hero Splendor as well as Honda’s Dream series of bikes. For everyone in the automobile industry is looking for a revival during the festive season which is all set to start.
