New Special Edition Suzuki Access 125 SE launched for Rs 61,788, to rival both TVS Ntorq and Hero Maestro Edge 125

Suzuki Access 125 SE launched in India with a price tag of Rs 61,788 ex-showroom. The special edition scooter is only Rs 1,600 expensive than the regular disc brake variant. The scooter gets some cosmetic updates and increases in features count. This special edition Access 125 is available at top-spec variant.

New Suzuki Access 125 SE comes with a metallic matte Bordeaux color scheme. Three more colors are also available – Metallic Matte Black, Metallic Sonic Silver, and Pearl Mirage White. The seat is made of beige leatherette which looks appealing. Further, there is a special edition badge on the rear side panels and black alloy wheels. A DC mobile charging socket is made standard on Access 125 SE. All these for just Rs 1,600 more, not a bad deal though.

Powering the new Suzuki Access 125 SE is same old single-cylinder, air-cooled, 125cc engine. This powerplant is good for 8.8bhp at 7000 rpm and 10.2Nm of twisting force at 5000rpm. A CVT transmission does the job of transferring power. The weight which is just 101 kg make its performance lively.

The scooter comes with front telescopic forks and rear coil spring for suspension duties. Braking is handled by front disc and rear drum set up. Long seat and spacious footboard make it quite popular among the masses. A semi-digital instrument cluster which has some retro appeal looks good and is easy to read on the go.

In the Indian market, Suzuki Access 125 SE will rival the TVS Ntorq and Hero’s Maestro Edge 125. Ntorq is priced at Rs 59,990 and Maestro starts from Rs 60,000 ex-showroom Delhi.
