Revolt Motors has started taking bookings for the first ever electric bike in India RV 400 for a token amount of Rs 1,000

As announced by the company, the bookings for RV 400 electric bike has been started for a small amount of Rs 1,000. The bookings are open only for the residents of Delhi and Pune. However, in the next four months, Revolt will have its presence felt in the NCR region, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata.

There is no official word from the company about the technical specifications. But we expect the bike to churn out 5kW power from a Bosch sourced electric motor. The battery pack capacity is speculated to be a huge one as it has a range of 156 km. The range in a full charge was given by road tests conducted by ARAI, Pune.

Revolt RV 400 comes with a fully digital instrument console. The e-motorcycle is India’s first AI enabled two-wheeler which will help the rider know about a lot of things about the bike before all hell breaks loose. There is a mobile app which can also be connected with the bike, the app will give important information like battery level, leftover range, nearby charging station and more.

In terms of competition, there is only one capable product to tackle Revolt RV 400 and it is Ather 450. But the competition will occur only in the city of Bangalore and Chennai from next month. Tork T6X will be another electric motorcycle which will be a direct rival to the Revolt RV 400.
