Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R price of Model Year 2020 revealed to be Rs 13.99 lakh ex-showroom Delhi
Japanese motorcycle manufacturer, Kawasaki heavy Industries has revealed the price of new 2020 ZX10R superbike. The 2020 Ninja ZX10R price is Rs 13.99 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. The bike is available in limited numbers only.
Powering the new 2020 Ninja ZX10R is a 998cc in-line 4-cylinder engine. This engine churns out a maximum power of 200.27bhp at 13500rpm. Peak torque of 113.5Nm is generated at 11500rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch.
This green supersport bike will be assembled locally in India which explains highly competitive price tag. Another benefit of local assembly is reduced delivery time when compared to CBU import. This initiative also complies with make in India campaign. The deliveries of pre-booked bikes will be made in the month of June 2019.

The changes made to the Model Year 2020 are the inclusion of finger follower for valve actuation. This valvetrain is said to be designed by the Kawasaki World Superbike Engineers. There is a Diamond-like Carbon coating on the finger followers for longer and reliable function.
Kawasaki started accepting pre-bookings of 2020 Ninja ZX10R a month back
The Japanese giant has also included two-way quickshifter with the new model. You can now both upshift and downshift at lightning-fast speed with the help of quickshifter. Cylinder-head is painted in Red colour to show the amount of raw power engine has. Also, the cylinder heads are ready for higher lift cams.
In terms of electronic aids, new ZX10R is equipped with Sport-Kawasaki Traction Control (S-KTRC), Kawasaki Launch Control Mode (KLCM), Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF). There are three power selection modes for different riding experience. In addition to these, you will also get Kawasaki Engine Brake Control and Kawasaki Intelligent Anti-lock Braking System.
Ram Power is increased to 210 bhp
Everything is tied down to an aluminium twin-spar frame (also called perimeter frame). Suspension duties are performed by Showa USD forks up front and Monoshock at the rear. Braking performance is taken care of by dual 330 mm discs with 4-piston Brembo callipers at the front end. Single 220 mm disc with single-piston calliper at the rear.
Talking about the rivals, the nearest litre-class superbike is Honda CBR1000RR which is priced at Rs 16.41 lakh and next one is BMW S1000RR which will set you back by Rs 18.05 lakh ex-showroom. However, new BMW S1000RR will launch soon with an even higher price tag. Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R price of Rs 13.99 lakh makes it the most affordable litre-class bike available in the country.
