Vespa Urban Club 125 is now the most affordable Vespa scooter in India

Few weeks after the scooter started reaching dealerships, Vespa Urban Club 125 has been officially launched by the Italian company. Urban Club is priced at Rs 72,190 ex-showroom Pune. The price in Delhi is slightly higher at Rs 73,700 ex-showroom.

New Vespa Urban Club 125 comes in four new refreshing shades – – Gloss Red, Maze Grey, Glossy Yellow, and Azzurro Provenza (Sky Blue). That said, Urban Club makes use of Blackened parts instead of chrome finish. This has reduced the price of scooter and makes it the most affordable offering from Vespa.

Powering the new Urban Club 125 is the same 125cc air-cooled, 3-valve engine which does duty on other 125cc scooters from Vespa and Aprilia. This engine makes 9.5bhp at 7500rpm and 9.9Nm torque at 6000rpm. Efficiency is better on the scooter due to 3-valve head and fueling is done by an electronic fuel injection system.

The monocoque frame is made from high tensile steel. Suspension duties are taken care of by aircraft inspired single sidearm with coil spring. The rear suspension is coil spring with hydraulic damper. Braking performance comes from 150 mm drum brake up front and 140 mm drum brake at the rear end.

New Urban Club 125 rides on 90/100 section tubeless tyres at both ends. Furthermore, the steel wheels are 10-inch in diameter. The scooter tips the scale at 114 kg. Ground clearance stands at 155 mm and seat height at 770 mm

The deliveries of Vespa Urban Club 125 have been started across India.

See, there are a lot of things to look at, but you are one hell of a person when your eyes are pulled towards beauty on two wheels. Akash is a writer, loves writing fiction but here at motorcycle diaries, its all about the world on two wheels.
