The Italian brand has allocated only 5 units of Special Edition MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR America

MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 18.73 lakh ex-showroom. The company says they have allocated only 5 units of special edition naked streetfighter motorcycle for India.

In the special edition configuration, MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR make use of the American flag’s three main colors – Red, Blue, and White. Instrument Cluster also possesses a decal of the new color scheme of American tri-color. A production number also sits proudly on each particular Brutale 800 RR. This motorcycle will come with a certificate of authenticity.

Speaking about the price, MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR America is priced a bit lower than the standard model. Special Edition motorcycle is priced at Rs 18.73 Lakh whereas the standard variant carries a price tag of Rs 18.99 lakh, both prices are ex-showroom. We believe the reason behind this can be the change is the exchange rate of American Dollar. With lower Dollar price, imported special edition bikes are priced lower than the standard Brutale 800.

Powering the Brutale 800 RR, is a three-cylinder in-line 798cc engine. this beast of an engine pumps out massive 140 bhp at 12,300 rpm and 87 Nm at 10,100 rpm. A 6-speed gearbox transfer power to the rear wheel via a slipper clutch. Suspension duties are performed by Marzocchi USD forks at the front and Sachs monoshock at the rear. Everything is held together by a trellis frame.

The company said that the inspiration for this bike comes from the 1975 model of MV Agusta S America 750. Powering this machine was a 750cc in-line 4 cylinder engine which churned out 75 bhp. There was a 4-valve head with dual-overhead cam design. This American livery theme was also rolled out for Dragster 800 RR in the recent past.
