Duke 125 captured 46% of total KTM sales in October 2019
The Austrian motorcycle manufacturer, KTM has posted sales number of the month of October 2019. And sales are up by 47% compared to last year in the same month. KTM registered 6481 units of sales in the festive season with a month-on-month rise of 11.65%.
Out of these 6481 units, KTM 125 Duke alone sold 3004 units which is nearly 47% of total monthly sales. Last year in October 2018, KTM delivered 4413 motorcycles and this month the company has attracted 2068 buyers solely due to the presence of 125 Duke.

Coming to the 200 Duke, the bike 2432 units which is down from 3240 units sold last year. This down in the 200 Duke’s popularity is due to its little sibling Duke 125. New and young riders is opting for the 125cc Duke as their first motorcycle to learn a new dimension of motorcycling.
Speaking to the 250 Duke, the quarter-litre naked bike found 666 homes in October owing to attractive offers. The sales have increased since last year and even compared to September 2019. 250 Duke is not so popular because of cheaper Duke 200 as well as monstrous 390 Duke which is highly popular among the motorcycle enthusiasts.
Last we have newly launched 790 Duke which is now the flagship model of the company. Only 18 units of the bike were sold in October which was down from 41 units KTM delivered in the previous month.
KTM is now ready to launch 390 Adventure in the India Bike Week which is going to held in Goa on 6th and 7th December 2019.
