Aprilia Storm 125 price is Rs 65,000 ex-showroom, this makes it the most affordable Aprillia till date

Italian automaker Piaggio has released a video which states Aprilia Storm 125 price to be Rs 65,000 ex-showroom. The video also urges the audience to book the scooter now. That clearly means that bookings for Aprilia Storm 125 have been started. The deliveries are expected to start in the month of May 2019.

The 2019 Aprilia Storm 125 will become the cheapest scooter from the house of Aprilia. At present, the most affordable scooter is Aprilia SR125. The Aprilias are quite popular among the young college goers. Even the Storm 125 is priced at a mouth-watering price which will help the company to increase its sales volume.

In term of design, we can make out that Storm 125 is a cosmetically enhanced version of RS125 performance scooter. You can make a choice between three colors on Storm 125, Yellow, Red, and maybe the third one is Black or White.

A 9.5 bhp 125cc engine will power the Storm 125. This engine pumps out 8.2 Nm of torque. This is evident, the engine has been detuned to offer more kilometers per liter of fuel. Power transmission is done by CVT gearbox to the rear 130 section dual purpose tyre. The front tyre is also fat at 120 section. The wheels are 12-inch in diameter instead of 14-inch in SR125.

A conventional tubular steel chassis is used in Storm 125. Shock absorption is taken care of by telescopic forks at the front end and single coil spring at the rear. Braking duties are performed by 220 mm disc brake and 140 mm rear drum brake. there is a bare basic analog instrument cluster on offer (this is bad).
