2019 Aprilia SR 150 comes with new paint schemes and few feature upgrades as well.

2019 Aprilia SR 150 has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 70,031 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The brand has rolled out the moto-scooter alongside SR 150 Carbon and SR 150 race that come priced at Rs 73,500 and Rs 80,211 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Launching these models right ahead of upcoming festive season is expected to boost the sales of the sporty looking scooter. It refreshes challenge to the rivals like Suzuki Burgman Street, TVS Ntorq 125 and Vespa SXL 150.

Aprilia showcased both the SR 150 Carbon and SR 150 Race at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo in February this year. Both the models garnered pretty good attention, which has driven the brand to roll them out in Indian market. Speaking about the 2019 Aprilia SR 150’s changes, it gets new paint schemes and couple of feature upgrades that make the model more appealing.

While the Italian flag inspired new vibrant colours like red, white and green grab attention immediately, the 2019 Aprilia SR 150 also gets new windshield, semi-digital instrument cluster and adjustable shock absorbers. The scooter sports new alloy wheels painted in black. A new blue colour has been added in the model as well adding zing to it.

Mechanically, the 2019 Aprilia SR 150 is same as the previous version. It gets energy from the same 154.8cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is mated to a CVT and churns out 10.4 bhp of power output alongside 11.4 Nm of torque output. Notably, the scooter doesn’t get ABS yet, but the scooter is expected to receive that once the new safety norms get implemented in April 2019.
