TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is inspired by the six-time Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship winning RTR 165.
TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has launched in Sri Lanka after impressing the Indian customers. The bike is inspired by six time Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship winning motorcycle RTR 165. It comes as the most powerful 160cc model equipped with new generation racing oil cooled combustion chamber engine and the motorcycle is based on TVS Motor Company’s patented double cradle split synchro stiff frame.
The motorcycle is priced in Sri Lanka at LKR 379,900 (ex-showroom) and it is available in three different colour options that are – Racing Red, Knight Black and Metallic Blue. Speaking about the launch of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V in Sri Lanka, Mr. R. Dilip, senior vice president, international business of the company said, in more than 10 years of its existence, the TVS Apache RTR series has created phenomenal customer delight. He also hopes the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V will impress the Sri Lankan buyers with its best in class performance and advanced technology.
Apart from a racing motorcycle inspired design, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V comes with a powerful 159.7cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, oil cooled engine that is mated to a 5-speed transmission. The engine kicks out 16.27 bhp of peak power at 8,000 rpm and 14.8 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. Also, this 160cc motorcycle promises to deliver impressive mileage as well.
As the motorcycle manufacturer claims, about the infusion of racing heritage in the TVS Apache RTR series, the Apache RTR 160 4V comes offering a top speed capability of 113 kmph, while the best-in-class power to weight ratio is defined by its acceleration capability of 0-60 kmph in 4.73 seconds.
