The Suzuki Gixxer SF MotoGP edition gets Suzuki’s trademark MotoGP color scheme for Rs 1,500 extra

Just within 2 months of the launch, Suzuki has introduced Gixxer SF MotoGP edition in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 1,10,600 ex-showroom. For the extra Rs 1,500, you will get exotic Suzuki trademark MotoGP color scheme with ECStar decals.


The new Gixxer SF MotoGP edition is on par with its MotoGP counterpart Suzuki ECStar GSX-RR. Even with details like pin stips on the wheels makes it closer to what we know as Suzuki’s racing genes.

Talking about the new variant, Devashish Handa, Vice President, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. said. “We are happy to introduce the GIXXER SF series MotoGP edition, the color admirably expresses the passion and spirit of racing-inspired by legendary GSX-R series’ legacy. With State of the art design, high output and low fuel consumption engine along with an easy to handle chassis the GIXXER SF series MotoGP edition is designed to impress. Suzuki Motorcycle India received an overwhelming response for the newly launched GIXXER SF series with a lot of anticipation about the MotoGP color. We are pleased to announce the launch of the same in the Indian market today.”

Powering the Gixxer SF MotoGP edition is the same 155cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine with 2-valve head. The powerplant pumps out 13.9bhp at 8000rpm and 14Nm torque at 6000rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox which can help in touching 125 kmph speedo indicated top speed.


Now as a new striking color scheme is available on Gixxer SF, sales are expected to grow further. The company says that Gixxer SF 250 will also receive same MotoGP touch up in the month of August 2019. So, guys if you are planning to buy one, just wait for some more time to get your hands on the MotoGP edition of Gixxer SF 250.
