2021 KTM 390 Duke will get a lot of changes, including the frame and engine
So, the news is in the air, the next generation 2021 KTM 390 Duke has been spotted testing for the first time in Germany. In the images, we can see there are quite a few changes made to the already near-perfect motorcycle.
The changes include a new trellis frame. We can see that the tubes are narrowly placed. There are as many as six cross tubes then the present number of four. This arrangement of tubes can increase the rigidity of the frame and in turn, we can get even better dynamics.

Speaking about the cockpit, the colored TFT display will continue to stay in its place with better design and layout. In the present iteration, TFT display provides a plethora of information viz, Speedometer, Tachometer, a couple of trip meters, instantaneous as well as average fuel consumption, average trip time and speed, distance to empty. You can also connect the bike with your smartphone.
The 373cc single cylinder engine will get some changes. These changes might not increase the power output as there is a lot of power being pumped from the current gen engine (43.5 bhp to be precise). The changes will be focused to increase the reliability of the engine as well as efficiency. The engine will get a new cylinder head, made of exotic material to withstand the high thermal load. A redesigned exhaust manifold will also be present.
