BMW C 400 X Urban Scooter gets a 34hp, single-cylinder engine.
BMW Motorrad, which introduced a new product category in the area of urban mobility in 2011 with the C 600 Sport and C 650 GT as premium vehicles for the maxi scooter segment, has taken the covers off the latest member of the BMW Motorrad C family the new BMW C 400 X Urban Scooter premium midsize scooter.
BMW Motorrad though points out that the new C 400 X is not just a smart midsize scooter designed to avoid constant urban traffic congestion and allowing faster movement from point A to B. It can be a lot of fun, too.
The scooter sports a rugged tubular frame and gets a fork at the front and 2 spring struts. Braking is cared for by twin discs in the front and a disc at the rear, together with ABS as standard.
The scooter becomes LED lighting technologies as standard and a multifunctional instrument audience with 6.5‑inch full-color TFT screen can be accessed as an ex-works option.
BMW’s Motorrad Multi-Controller provides integrated performance where the rider can access connectivity and vehicle functions and without being diverted from what is going on on the road. Besides the ease of being able to use the telephone and listen to music during traveling, there’s also the advantage of effortless navigation by means of a system of arrows.
Storage comprises two pockets as well as the Flexcase beneath the seat that is single-section. The BMW C 400 X comes non-metallic Alpine White and metallic Zenith Blue.
