Bajaj Pulsar 220F has been updated on the company’s website with a new Volcanic Red color option

Many other sports bike came in this category but Pulsar 220F had already made an image for itself that fans just want one and only bike, the mighty Pulsar 220F. Even now with so many options on offer, Bajaj Pulsar 220F posts sales number north of 6000 units on a monthly basis.
To keep the motorcycle fresh, the Pune based motorcycle maker introduced a Matte Red color option called Volcanic Red. There was no official announcement from the company as this option is seen hanging on the company’s official website. The bike is now available in three color options – Black Blue, Black Red, and Volcanic Red. This new color option gets flaming red and orange decals which give unique visual appeal to the bike.
Apart from the new color, no other changes are made to the bike. Powering the Pulsar 220F is the same old carburetor fed, air & oil-cooled 220cc engine with 2-valve head. This powerplant produces 20.9 bhp at 8500rpm and 18.55Nm at 7000rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox which propels the bike to 130 kmph top speed.
The bike is built around double-cradle frame suspended by telescopic forks up front and twin shocks at the rear. Braking department is taken care of by 260 mm front disc brake and 230 mm disc at the rear. A single-channel ABS keeps the rider in control under hard braking. The instrument cluster is also the same old unit but received some changes in tell-tale lights positions and a blue backlight.
Recently Bajaj increased the prices of all Pulsar models and Pulsar 220F price was hiked by Rs 2,000. Now the ex-showroom price stands at Rs 1.07 lakh ex-showroom.
