The new Ather 450X to be more technologically advanced electric scooter from the startup
Bangalore based Electric vehicle manufacturer, Ather Energy has unveiled the plans of a new technologically advanced electric scooter christened as Ather 450X. The new scooter is expected to come with more features, better specifications, as well as connected features.

The company says that it will be revealing the 450X’s features one per day throughout this week on its social media platforms. At present, Ather has opened the pre-bookings for the new electric scooter for its existing customers as well as few other selected individuals. Official launch date is still not revealed by the company.

We expect that new Ather 450X will have 4G connectivity and related connected features. A more powerful motor with a bigger battery pack can also be expected from the new scooter. It will be a good idea for Ather to bring removable battery pack technology on the 450X. A removable battery makes it easy for a rider to charge their batteries in their home or office.
Recently Ather Energy signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Tamil Nadu setting up a state of the art manufacturing facility. This new facility will be spread across 4,00,000 square feet and it is expected that Ather will then able to sell its electric scooters across the country. At present, Ather is delivering 450 to Chennai which was booked last year in October and November months.
Along with it, Ather is also planning to introduce Ather Flagship experience centres in the major cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune and few other tier-1 cities. Bookings and deliveries of electric scooters will begin by the year 2022.
