Ducati Approved motorcycles will undergo 35-point checking, only less than 5-year-old models to be sold through the channel

Ducati has entered the fray of motorcycle manufacturers that sell pre-owned models. Christened as Ducati Approved, the Italian superbike maker brand follows another premium company Harley Davidson in this process. The motorcycle maker claims, the Ducati Approved will sell only 5 years old models with lower than 50,000km on the odometer. No wonder, this will allow a lot of motorcycle enthusiasts to own a Ducati.

What’s most interesting is, Ducati Approved will make sure the pre-owned motorcycles come promising assured quality and performance. These motorcycles will go through a 35-point rigorous technical checking process. Every motorcycle will be inspected and certified by the service technicians. Also, there will be extended warranty from the motorcycle brand and roadside assistance on offer as well.

As Ducati claims, the Ducati Approved program comes with specialized assistance by its official network in India. The warranty of 12 months come with a facility of warranty transfer to the new owner in case of a resale. Cost of material and labour charges will be covered by the brand itself without any advance payment.

Speaking about the program, Ducati India’s managing director Mr Sergi Canovoas said, the brand’s entry in Indian pre-owned motorcycle segment will make the Ducati models more accessible for passionate enthusiasts. He hopes the program will boost Ducati’s sales and more buyers will be interested in buying the premium models made by the Italian marquee.

The Ducati Approved is a certified global program that hosts the pre-owned models ranging from Scrambler Icon to Panigale V4, the entire portfolio. In India, the brand has been experiencing steady growth in the last couple of years. The demands for premium high-performance motorcycles have lured the brand to expand its business here. Currently, Ducati India sells a total of 25 models in the country. These range between Scrambler Icon to Panigale V4 R.
