At present, the KTM 250 Duke is priced at Rs 1.97 lakh ex-showroom and the on-road price of the bike in Delhi is around Rs 2.25 lakh. So, if your old bike is evaluated for Rs 50,000, you have to pay only Rs 1.75 lakh. Wait, there is no hard and fast rule, you can bring a bike from any manufacturer.

This is KTM’s new strategy to boost the sales of Duke 250 as it is the lowest selling model for its price. Most of the sales of KTM comes from the 125cc and 200cc Dukes. On the other hand, Duke 390, for its price, achieve respectable numbers.

In this current scenario of the global slowdown, India is affected the most due to the disruption of liquidity in the market. But if we look at the sales numbers of September 2019, we expect to see a major boost in the month of October, thanks to the festive season. Other reasons for the slowdown is the upcoming BS6 norms for which people are postponing their purchases as well as weaker customer sentiments.
