The company has now introduced the 2017 Benelli TNT 300 ABS entry-level performance bike
2017 Benelli TNT 300 ABS: With the compulsory ABS/CBS regulation approaching, bike manufacturers have gradually begun to implement joint brakes on their goods or either system. It was just a matter of time until it trickled down to its related sibling, the TNT 300, together with the Benelli 302R offering ABS as standard. It’s finally gone on sale in India.
There is no difference between the earlier this ABS model and TNT 300, save for the addition of the security system. The double petal discs up front and the single disc at the rear have been carried over unchanged, and this version receives the identical ABS counter switch, mounted at the base of the mirror-stalk that was left, just like on 302R and the TNT 600i.
It still retains its trellis framework, USD front forks, side-mounted rear monoshock in addition to its own 300cc parallel-twin motor that is very good for 38.26hp of peak power and 26.5Nm of peak torque. We guess that the extra ABS has generated a minor increase in kerb weight over the non-ABS equipped TNT 300 (which weighs 196kg), although DSK Benelli hasn’t released the exact specs nonetheless.
The bicycle will be available for booking at each of the firm’s 26 showrooms situated across the nation, and much like the 302R, DSK Benelli will only sell the ABS version of this TNT 300 going. With this update, today three of the organization’s five offerings from India have already been equipped with ABS, and we expect the two other people to follow suit soon.
