Suzuki Intruder special edition gets pillion backrest and new colour option.

Suzuki Intruder special edition has been launched in India at a starting price tag of Rs 1.05 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The fuel injected version of the cruiser is priced at Rs 1,07,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Suzuki Intruder special edition comes sporting a pillion backrest and it dons attractive colour scheme as well, which include Matte Black and Candy Sanoma Red strip.

Suzuki launch the Intruder in India aiming the Bajaj Avenger, but the bike is yet to deliver satisfactory sales result. However, the special edition is expected to boost its sales further. As the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer claims, this new colour theme added to the bike will make it sportier looking and ahead of upcoming festive season, Suzuki is betting big on the bike.

The Suzuki Intruder was launched in India at the end of last year and it came with attractive cruiser layout. The bike gets impressive features like fully digital instrument cluster, standard ABS etc. The bike takes design inspiration from the bigger Intruder. However, there are some distinctive styling elements as well.

Speaking about the engine, the Suzuki Intruder special edition comes with unchanged motor. The 154cc engine kicks out 14.59 bhp of power output and 14 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duty is done by a 5-speed gearbox.
