MV Agusta Dragster 800 RC: MV Agusta has taken the wraps off the 2018 Dragster 800 RC. The 800 RC, based on the RR, was added in 2017 to the line-up of MV and the Varese-based manufacturer has announced its plans to re-introduce it.

On the front, the RC will get carbon-fiber and thermoplastic fairing, radiator air scoops, and dash cover/fly display. In addition to this livery, the RC also offers a set of forged nine-spoke wheels which also look the part, to say the least.

MV Agusta Dragster 800 RC:

A 798cc engine that pushes out 152hp at 12,800 rpm, which is exactly compared to RR, courtesy the exhaust which begets its own engine map powers the 800 RC. The motor also features a race-derived counter-rotating crankshaft, which will help decrease inertia and a revised balance shaft that claims to do a much much better job of reducing engine results. The motor is paired to some cassette-type six-speed gearbox with MV’s latest EAS 2.0 quick-shifter, which functions in both directions, aided by a hydraulic clutch.

MV Agusta Dragster 800 RC:

The bicycle’s Motor and Vehicle Integrated Control System (MVICS, MV’s language for its rider-aid bundle) includes four riding modes, such as a completely programmable ‘Custom’ mode which lets you configure engine reaction, torque management, throttle sensitivity, engine braking and the rev limiter — it all extensively developed for its RC variant. An eight-level traction control (standard across all Dragsters) using a disengage alternative can also be included to maintain its hectic power delivery in check. As a result of the Brembo 320mm twin-disc front brake installation with calipers, prowess is possessed by the RC. Along with this, it sports a Bosch 9+ ABS unit, with rear-wheel lift-up reduction (RLM). Needless to say, the suspension package is fully flexible and similarly top-notch, with a Marzocchi USD fork and a Sachs mono shock.

Only 350 units of this Dragster 800 RC will be produced, which makes it quite distinctive.
