TVS Star City+, the homegrown two-wheeler manufacturer’s 110cc commuter motorcycle has received a new dual-tone colour variant. The new grey and black colour variant of the motorcycle comes priced at Rs 52,907 (ex-showroom). This new dual-tone paint is the addition in the motorcycle’s already available dual-tone colour options like black-red, black-blue and red-black.

Adding a new colour variant right ahead of the upcoming festive season is expected to boost the sales of the popular 110cc motorcycle. The two-wheeler manufacturer has been growing fast in the recent times thanks to its attractive portfolio and the Star City+ is one of the popular products from the company. The new colour variant also comes with a sporty new body graphics, 3D chrome badge and black grab rail along with a small crown visor.

The TVS Star City+ also comes with Synchronised Braking Technology or SBT, which is similar to the Combi Braking System (CBS) about to be implemented in all the sub-150cc two-wheelers in India from next year to comply with the upcoming safety norms. Interestingly, TVS is the only two-wheeler manufacturer in India to offer this technology in the 110cc segment. The system ensures equal braking power delivered to both front and rear wheels minimizing the chance of any mishap due to sudden braking during an emergency situation.

Speaking about the power source of TVS Star City+, the motorcycle gets energy from an efficient 110cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine coupled with a 4-speed gearbox. The engine churns out 8.28 bhp of peak power at 7,000 rpm and 8.7 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm. The commuter also returns impressive 86 kmpl of ARAI certified fuel efficiency.
