TVS Motor Company has come up with an all-new commuter motorcycle christened as Radeon at a price tag of Rs 48,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The TVS Radeon 110cc motorcycle comes blending the stance of a regular commuter and bit of extra styling reminding us of the Royal Enfield Classic. Based on a single cradle tubular frame shared with TVS StarCity+, the TVS Radeon is meant for young customers.

The 109.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine churns out 8.3 bhp of peak power at 7,000 rpm and 8.7 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm. The homegrown two-wheeler brand claims this bike offers 69.3 kmpl of impressive mileage.

Interestingly, the bike is based on a 125cc concept that was displayed at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. Speaking about the design, the bike gets a headlamp with chrome bezel around it, something like the Bajaj V models. Also, the fuel tank gets black thick pads adding a Royal Enfield Classic like tone to the commuter. The plain seat gets a retro theme and adds zing to the model.

Adding practicality is the chrome finished grab rail at the back that can be used for tying small amount of goods as well. There is a compact and squarish taillight protruding out of the tail. The bike uses drum brakes on both the end for stopping power and for suspension duty, the TVS Radeon gets telescopic front forks and monoshock absorber at back. So far, the TVS Radeon seems to be a perfect bike for regular commuting in and around the city as well as in rural areas too, this will draw pretty much attention.
