Honda CB Shine is the only 125cc motorcycle in India to sell 70 lakh units.
Honda CB Shine has crossed the shining sales milestone of 70 lakh units right ahead of Diwali. With this achievement, Honda CB Shine becomes the only 125cc motorcycle in the country to reach the 70 lakh figure. This also marks that every second customer in the 125cc motorcycle segment buys the Honda CB Shine. Also, this model is among the top 4 selling 125cc motorcycles in India.
Thanks to the Shine series, Honda has been able to grab the pole position in the 125cc motorcycle segment with 51% stake. Also, the brand registered a 10% growth in this category. Speaking about the achievement of crossing 70 lakh units, HMSI’s senior vice president Mr. Yadvinder Singh Guleria said, Shine’s outstanding performance together with the innovation of Combi Brake System (CBS) with equalizer differentiates it from other models in the segment. Achieving this milestone right ahead Diwali is special for the brand.
The Honda CB Shine comes powered by a 124.73cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that gets Honda Eco Technology (HET). The engine is capable of churning out 10.16 bhp of peak power at 7,500 rpm and 10.30 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. Available in 6 colour variants, the motorcycle blends practicality and style perfectly.
Honda CB Shine comes with sporty body graphics with premium 3D emblem adding zing to the bike. It gets long seat adding comfort for the rider. Also, the chrome carburetor cover and overall design play key role in making it very stylish model.
