BMW Motorrad R Nine launched in India Bike Week 2017
BMW Motorrad R Nine: BMW Motorrad Will launch the K 1600 B and the R nineT Racer on 24 Throughout the India Bike Week in Goa. The K 1600 B is a bagger motorcycle that is faired, including a stretched wheelbase and laid-back riding position.
The windshield is adjustable, while the fairing gets grooves to boost wind deflection. The K 1600 B is powered by an engine, which produces 175Nm and 158bhp of torque. The list of optional extras includes a quickshifter for the gearbox, as well as a gear. The K 1600 B could be ridden in 3 riding manners – lively, road, and rain. Dynamic digital suspension adjusts the damping in accordance with the street surface.
But if you are not a lover of heavy cruisers, fret not. For the R nineT Racer will be even launched by BMW throughout the IBW. A stripped down version of the R nineT, this motorcycle includes a cowl motivated by the racing motorcycles from the 1950s. The aluminum tank is swapped for a steel tank, and the front forks are replaced using units. Powering the R nineT Racer is the same twin-cylinder boxer engine, which delivers 116Nm and 110bhp of torque.
Big bagger bikes have been gaining popularity in India and have a massive following from the marketplace. The K 1600 B will still need to compete from the Harley-Davidson Road Glide Particular along with the Roadmaster while the Honda Goldwing is no longer available in India.
