2017 KTM Duke 250 launched at the price tag of MYR 28,800 (Rs. 4.47 lakhs) and Duke 390 MYR 21,730 (Rs. 3.37 lakhs)
KTM has launched the 2017 KTM Duke 250 and Duke 390 in the Malaysian market. Priced at MYR 28,800 (Rs 4.47 lakhs) and MYR 21,730 (Rs 3.37 lakhs) respectively, these bicycles are manufactured at Bajaj’s mill in Pune.
Both the 250 Duke along with the KTM 390 Duke is predicated with the engine as a stressed member. The 390 Duke gets an engine delivering 37Nm and 43bhp of torque, while the 250 Duke gets an engine providing 29bhp and 24Nm of torque.
Both engines are mated with some six-speed transmission, together with the 390 Duke. Both the bikes ride on front forks and a rear monoshock sourced from a three-mode ABS system, along with WP Suspension. The machine is provided as standard in Malaysia through the 250 Duke offered in India does not get ABS.
Being the only nation to fabricate the Duke range that is small-capacity, India has become an export hub for KTM. The company continues to be recording a growth in terms of global sales numbers and establishing sales records.
