Royal Enfield Himalayan ABS would be priced at around Rs 1.80 lakhs and it is likely to launch next month.
Royal Enfield Himalayan ABS is booking is open now for the buyers and the motorcycle is expected to launch in India sometime next month. While the brand is tightlipped about this model, expect it to be priced at around Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom). The ABS variant will surely be priced around Rs 10,000 premium over the standard model.

Royal Enfield Himalayan ABS will certainly boost the appeal of this adventure tourer. Not only in India, but Royal Enfield is also targeting global markets with this ABS equipped version of the motorcycle. As BMW G310 GS has been already launched in India and the demands for adventure bikes are pretty high, Royal Enfield sees great growth potential in the segment. Despite being an attractive motorcycle, the Himalayan still couldn’t fetch impressive sales figure.
Couple of mechanical problems during its initial days after launch created trouble for the model. Now, with the ABS equipped variant, Royal Enfield hopes to see a changed scenario. The motorcycle manufacturer will launch the Himalayan Sleet ABS alongside the standard version. The Himalayan Sleet ABS could be priced around Rs 2,000 higher than the ABS equipped regular model.

Mechanically, Royal Enfield Himalayan ABS will remain the same as its non-ABS sibling. It will continue to get power from a 411cc single-cylinder, fuel injected engine. This motor will churn out 24.46 bhp of peak power and 32 Nm of peak torque. Thanks to the ABS, the Himalayan will be more agile and safer to ride on bumpy terrains.
