10th-Anniversary edition of Harley Davidson Street 750 BS6 to be limited to just 300 units

As Harley Davidson completes 10 years in India, they have launched special 10th-anniversary edition of Harley Davidson Street 750 BS6 in India. The price of new BS6 Street 750 is pegged at Rs 5.47 lakh ex-showroom which is Rs 13,000 more than the BS4 version. However, Harley Davidson has made it clear that this bike will be available for just 300 units to maintain exclusivity.

The motorcycle is completely similar to the outgoing BS4 model. However, there are some exclusive India related pattern decals can be seen on the fuel tank as well as on the rear fender above the taillight. The black alloy wheels continue to do their job even on this model. All in all, other than the decals nothing is changes aesthetically on the Harley Davidson Street 750 BS6.

Powering the 2020 Street 750 is the same liquid-cooled revolution X 749cc V-twin engine. This powerplant is good for 60Nm torque which arrives at 3750rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox which will make the cruiser hit a top speed of 180 kmph.

The bike is hung by telescopic forks upfront and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are taken care of by disc brakes on both ends coupled with dual-channel ABS.

One can see a bit rise in sales of Street 750 models for its comes with a BS6 engine which will keep its resale value in the coming years.

Harley Davidson LiveWire unveiled in India

In the other news, Harley Davidson has also unveiled their first-ever electric motorcycle, the Harley Davidson LiveWire in the country. However, the electric bike is not put on sale by the company it was just for the display purpose.

The company is also planning to launch Pan America Adventure Tourer as well as a first Streetfighter model in the year 2020.
