It is expected that Hero Xtreme 200 S will launch in February 2018
The newest Hero Xtreme 200 S streamlined sports bike that was unveiled in the 2016 Vehicle Expo about a couple of decades back, was long overdue for launching. At length, Hero MotoCorp has shared with an upgrade and verified that the launch will happen before their 2018 Auto Expo in February next year.
Power comes from a brand new 200 cc single-cylinder lookup engine that generates 18.5 PS electricity at 8,500 rpm and 17.2 Nm torque at 6,000 rpm. A transmission is a 5-speed unit.
The bike dons sporty tank extensions, comfortable bikini fairing with LED pilot lamps, digi-analog instrument console, slim contoured chair, sharp-edged tailpiece with LED taillight, belly pan in air vents and a very simple silencer with a silver shield. The white-red-black color theme feels somewhat overdone though.
New Hero Xtreme 200 S has the normal telescopic fork in the front while the back becomes mono-shock suspension method. Both wheels are retarded by means of a disk brake each. The bike also gains from ABS.
Hero Motocorp is gearing up to arm itself with a variety of compact sports bikes that comprises the Xtreme 200 S along with a brand new 300 cc bike (dependent on the XF3R theory). Discussing the HX250 intends to establish that’s been canceled. The target is to acquire a large market share in the burgeoning section, with the assistance of new sports bikes, which will enable them to choose the likes of KTM Duke and RC series, Bajaj Dominar, TVS Apache 310, etc..
