2018 Bajaj Platina gets LED DRLs
2018 Bajaj Platina: Bajaj has established the Platina in India. 45,350/- (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Platina gets LED DRLs over an upgraded design for the device cluster and the headlight. Bajaj had recently launched a new base variant of this Platina, called Platina ES Spoke.
The Bajaj Platina continues to draw power from the single-cylinder motor that is DTS-i that is 102cc. This engine comes mated to a gearbox and Bajaj claims a mileage of 104 km/l, which can be substantially higher compared to the contest.
The Bajaj Platina is designed keeping in mind relaxation of the rider and the pillion. The bike gets a longer front and rear suspension. There are footpads in the rear and a Spring Foam seat. The commuter bike gets a 110-millimeter front drum brake and a 130 mm rear drum brake.
The updated Platina tips the scale at 108 kg (kerb pounds) and is accompanied by an 11-litre gas tank capacity.
