BMW F750 GS and F850 GS have been launched at Rs 11.95 lakh and Rs 12.95 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.
BMW F750 GS and F850 GS adventure tourers have been launched in India. The BMW F750 GS is available at a starting price of Rs 11.95 lakh and the F850 GS is priced from Rs 12.95 lakh (ex-showroom). As BMW Motorrad is aiming to increase its share in the Indian premium motorcycle market, the BMW F750 GS and F850 GS will help the brand to achieve that target.
The BMW F750 GS is based on a steel chassis and is weighs 224 kg. On the other hand, the bigger model is based on same architecture and weighs 229 kg. Both the bikes come with a 15-litre fuel tank enabling them to run a significantly long distance without refueling. Both the bikes come with similar styling that makes them aggressive and appealing at the same time.
The BMW F750 GS gets LED headlamp with LED daytime running lights. A short and compact windshield is there enhancing the convenience of the rider. Also, there is a fully digital instrument cluster. Apart from that, ergonomically designed rider seat, stepped up pillion and grab handles add zing to the model. It gets 41 mm telescopic front forks and multistep adjustable monoshock absorber at the back. The bike runs on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear cast aluminium wheels. The BMW F850 GS gets a 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel.
Both the BMW bikes come powered by an 853cc in-line twin cylinder engine. The engine churns out 74 bhp of power at 7,500 rpm and 83 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm for the F750 GS. For the bigger version the engine kicks out 92 bhp of power and 92 Nm of torque. Both the bikes get a 6-speed gearbox. Both the bikes come with multiple riding modes and a host of advanced technologies as well.
