New Bajaj Dominar teased in new Bajaj TVC, is all set to launch soon

The new advertisement released by Bajaj is all over the internet because it features the new Dominar 400. You can clearly make out the difference by spotting silver USD forks in the Dominar. The video actually starts with a rider riding through open lands on new Dominar.

We can clearly make out that Bajaj is going to launch new Dominar 400 within few weeks if not days. There were few spy shots of 2019 Dominar 400 which emerged on the internet quite a few times sporting same silver USD forks which were seen in TVC. The USD unit appears to be similar in dimensions to that of KTMs. The overall suspension may be tuned for better cruising ability of the bike.

Changes on the new Dominar includes dual barrel exhaust system and redesigned tank panel. Wheels are now back to original black color. The dual barrel exhaust has a much more throaty sound.

The bike will feature a new secondary digital meter on fuel tank which will display odometer and trip meter readings. The main TFT display will feature messages like “side stand down” and average fuel consumption.

Dominar 400 is powered by a liquid cooled, 373 cc, single-cylinder engine which pumps out 34.5 bhp and 35 Nm torque. The radiator is bigger than the older model so one can expect a mild increase in power and torque. The bike will most probably comply with BS-6 emission norms which will come into effect from 1st April 2020.

With more equipment and features, 2019 version of Bajaj Dominar 400 will cost a little more than current pricing of Rs 1.63 Lakh. Expect a price of Rs 1.8 Lakh ex-showroom when launched.

This guy here is one such animal who loves two wheels more than "Maa ke hath ka Khana." Not yet fully transformed into a seasoned rider but still, there are many things still "under construction." Akash is a writer, loves writing fiction but here at motorcycle diaries, its all about the world on two wheels.
