Bajaj Dominar 400 To Be Exported To Australia

Bajaj Dominar 400 is already exported to international markets including South East Asia and Latin America.

Bajaj Dominar 400: India’s fourth largest two-wheeler manufacturer by volume, Bajaj Auto, will begin bikes that are exporting to Australia soon. According to sources in the Bajaj will export Bajaj Dominar bikes to Australia and also is currently considering including Australia since the company’s newest export market.

The Dominar is Bajaj’s motorcycle and is powered with a cc, liquid-cooled engine. The Dominar’s engine is detuned to make 34.5 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 35 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm.

Bajaj has plenty of hopes riding on the Dominar’s vector targeting sales of between 10,000 to 12,000 Dominar bikes every month. Thus far, Bajaj has been able to block sales of a mean of around 1,500 Dominar bikes per month in the market, and the firm expects that figure to cross the 2,000 unit sales mark this festive season.

The Bajaj Dominar is already exported to Bajaj Auto’s existing export markets, such as Latin America and South East Asia. In August 2017, Bajaj exported only under 300 units in the 350 cc class segment that is above, and with raising push into export markets, the company is expecting the Dominar will draw in some customer interest overseas.

Bajaj Auto is one of India’s most significant two-wheeler exporters, and despite a downturn in domestic sales, Bajaj Auto’s exports continue to see growth. Market share for Bajaj has declined from the domestic marketplace, and sales amounts are under pressure, having increased in single digits over the past couple of decades.
